The 8-Count
Count 1
Every athlete is evaluated on skill, effort, and coachability, then placed on the team where she will grow fastest.
Count 2
Tumbling, stunting, and conditioning blocks run every week, with progress tracked skill by skill.
Count 3
Squad nights, service projects, and buddy pairings turn a roster into a team before the first competition.
Count 4
Athletes take the mat with a full routine, learning to perform under lights, judges, and a live crowd.
Count 5
A full circuit of events sharpens execution, consistency, and the composure that separates good teams from great ones.

Returning athletes step into captain roles, mentor younger teammates, and speak for the program in the community.

End-of-season championship and bid events are where a full year of 8-counts finally gets counted out loud.

Meet the Staff
Founder & CEO
Founded DeKalb Diamond Eagles to provide young athletes with more than a cheer program. Committed to developing confident, disciplined, and resilient leaders through competitive cheer, mentorship, and positive youth development.
Head Cheer Coach
Over 15 years of coaching experience. Started cheering at age seven and began coaching in high school. Dedicated to building a positive, family-oriented program that emphasizes excellence both on and off the mat.
Assistant Cheer Coach
Cheering since age three with three years coaching Diamond Eagles. Currently studying Political Science at Clark Atlanta University. Passionate about mentoring young athletes and helping them grow.
