Privacy Policy

We collect information that a parent or legal guardian voluntarily provides through our registration, contact, sponsorship, and volunteer forms: guardian name, email address, phone number, athlete first name and age or division, emergency contact details, and any message content you choose to share.

We do not ask children to submit information to us directly, and our forms are designed for completion by an adult guardian.

Consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Athlete information is submitted by a guardian as part of registration.

We never publish an athlete’s full name, home address, phone number, email address, or school on this website or on our social channels.

If a family voluntarily shares academic information for scholarship or eligibility purposes, it is treated as confidential, viewed only by the staff reviewing that request, and is never shared with third parties or published.

We use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, process registration and tryout placement, communicate practice and competition logistics, coordinate volunteers and sponsors, and meet the recordkeeping obligations of a nonprofit organization. We do not sell or rent personal information, ever.

Team photos and competition footage may appear on this site and on our social media. Photo use is covered by the media consent a guardian gives at registration, and consent can be withdrawn at any time by emailing us — we will remove the athlete from published material going forward. Captions never include athlete full names.

We share limited information only where necessary: with competition organizers for event registration, with service providers who help us operate the program, and where required by law or to protect the safety of an athlete.

Access to family records is limited to authorized staff and board members. This website is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we limit what we collect to what the program actually needs.

A parent or guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their family’s information, and may withdraw media consent, by emailing ddedirectorshaythomas@gmail.com. We respond to these requests within 30 days.

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes affecting registered families are also communicated by email.
